Tracking Endpoints

Some Local Logic datasets are available both by API and by bulk data delivery, depending on a particular client's needs. In addition, caching needs vary.

Local Logic leverages feedback on the use of our data within websites and for specific locations to improve our products, and so in cases a bulk dataset or cached results are included in your contract, you will be asked to call one of Local Logic's tracking endpoints.

The tracking endpoints were built to simplify the API calls that are to be made each time cached or bulk-delivered Local Logic data is accessed for display on a site. The tracking endpoints can be called using the same API parameters as our regular API calls that return data, but they return no results and always result in a 204 status code.

URL Parameter​

A specific query parameter requested when the tracking endpoints are invoked is url, with the value being the url of the specific page where the Local Logic data was loaded.

GET v3/scores​

Scores tracking calls are made using the same Authorization Header as the usual GET v3/scores calls. Here are some example calls to this tracking endpoint:
